There are many reasons why people follow K-pop groups. First of all, their dances have to be perfectly synchronized. When the groups do a synchronized dance, even if they are not that good at singing, it makes them look more perfect and catchy. BTS and EXO both do synchronized dances attracting many fans. Next, the group’s songs must appeal to the fans. The name k-pop means Korean pop, so the group’s songs have to be good and catchy so that people can follow them. Big bang, IU, and Girlfriend’s songs are very memorable making people listen again and again. Last of all, the groups have to be handsome and pretty. Korean people believe appearance is better than ability. Also, nowadays K-pop bands all need to have a ‘wannabe’ look. If not, not many people will follow that K-pop band. The reasons why people follow K-pop bands are their dancing has to be perfect, the group’s songs must appeal to the fans, last of all, the groups have to be handsome and pretty.
